Amchi Mumbai Trip

Here I am writing about my latest Mumbai trip. I won't be writing about what I did, what I saw rather I will tell my experience about Mumbai.

When I reached there on the first day, we went into a taxi. I was surprised as to why mausaji hadn't brought his car. I was answered a few minutes later where there was lot of crowd on the streets. I could see people rushing in different vehicles to their destinations. I haven't been to New York in my life but what I have felt from the things seen Mumbai was the indian version of Ney York.

People are always in a hurry.

My sis always told me that she loved Mumbai but I couldn't find a single reason that I can like this city. Be it beaches, or stardom or anything else, I always felt something missing from it. I was near perfect from the point that the connectivity is very good, weather is nice and the surroundings are also good but there is some element missing from it.

I guess that because I came from a small city 'Agra', I am not attracted to it at all. But one thing I like about Mumbai is that everyone has his place in the city. Everyone from the slums to the big stars live in this city virtually together with the only difference of the way of living. Mumbai is compatible with all the ways of lifestyles.

I saw how can a family live in two level house where the height of both the levels combined is less than that of a single level of an average person home. But even in those conditions there was a smile on the faces of people there and most of them were having the full basic necessities in their home.

This city attracts a huge number of young talents towards itself by the charming Indian Film Industry. I have faced a few of them. But what they didn't knew that rather of trying their luck in the industry if they give so much of hard work at somewhere else their life would have been better than what they are striving for. I guess this is because the publicity which a 'STAR' get in India is huge as compared to the publicity they will receive in their lifetime if they do something else.

I also witnessed the openness that the city had. There were many lovers point in the city and people didn't had any concerns with the PDA('Public Display of Affection). I guess where is Raj Thakrey in this case. Though he does everything for all the useless thing like in Wake Up Sid 'Bombay' has been used instead of Mumbai. But he never dared to say anything about these places. I am not saying that it is bad to have such places rather for me as a bachelor it is very refreshing.[:D] But when Raj Thakrey didn't had problem with such things why is he creating issues on useless thing. My guess is that people involved here are the youth which he needs.

I also saw that there is always some sort of construction going on in the city. Be it fly overs or be it sea bridge or anything else but construction goes on. But  the roads which are worn off are neglected and the new construction still goes on.

The city consists of beaches which are dirty. You cannot have good time there with all the population and the adulteration. At least I couldn't have a good time. I also saw for the first time in my life the sea not just from the sea shore. I saw how the ferries operated there. And also saw how the advancement in the technology has destructed the sea life there. I gave it a serious thought that what kind of life we would have lived if we didn't explored so much. I guessed that we wouldn't have been so much modernized  or advanced but we would have been living in harmony with the nature. I also saw for the first time in my life a dead fish not by men but by the doings of men. I was so sad on viewing such a tragedy.

For now I am stopping here but will be back with more content....

Mayank Vats v24.0.1 Successful Release Day

The day started with the calls from my friends. Though I got some unexpected calls from unexpected numbers but still there were some of the calls I was expecting which were not there.I should say the day started on a low note. So the calls continued till 12:45 A.M. In the morning, I came to office and then my day started as it did every other day.
I owe it to Pranav Sir that the mail for my birthday was not made by me itself otherwise the plan was the other way round. So I got wishes from all the team members and we had a chat about partying. We went for the meager treat given by me in the afternoon. We spent some good time together.
Then we had the Dumb Charades and it was fun together. After Dumb-C, I went to watch the cricket match of India vs Sri Lanka. Sachin Tendulkar batted brilliantly. After India's innings,I cut the cake. Then I went home and then celebrated again at home. So this was how my 24th version was released successfully as everything I wanted happened during the day.

Ten Rules for Being Human

Hi All,
This is an article I read on Internet. Found it quite interesting. Read it yourself.

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period.
2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, "life."
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately "work."
4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons. If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
6. "There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."
7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10. You will forget all this.
